The semester is winding down for me. I turn in my grades in just a couple of days. I have a couple more weeks of going to work after that during which time I will continue to be surprisingly busy. Perhaps it sounds odd to say my semester ends this week and then ends again two weeks after that, but through a quirk of scheduling and due to the fact that online classes do not follow the same time line as other classes, it is what it is.
All of that is to say I’m almost past the most stressful part. Even though I’m not finished with my grading, and even though I will be in big trouble if I don’t get it all done in the next couple of days, I’m starting to feel that relief of knowing relief is almost on hand.
Ask me on Monday if I have a better attitude yet. I told some colleagues I’d start being positive next week. I said it last week, but I didn’t mean this week. I meant next week.
