I started making paper cranes as a tribute to Japan in the aftermath of the earthquakes. My heart still goes out to Japan, but since that time so many disasters have struck around the world.
Here in Mississippi, I have tornado disasters to the east and flooding to the west. I don’t know what else to say but God bless us everyone.
This crane is made from a piece of the Sunday comics. In times as distress I think humor is our great hope. As long as we have that, we still have our selves.
