The Diet is getting tricky. I don’t mean I’m having trouble resisting the urge to eat a family-sized bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. I doubt I have the energy to drive to the store to buy any in the first place. No, talking myself out of eating bad stuff isn’t the problem at all. I’m just having trouble coming up with stuff to eat.<\/p>\n
I come home from work tired. I still have work to do. I don’t have time to plan. I don’t have time to shop. I don’t have time to cook. This would have been a popcorn evening in the old days…a couple of months ago. And, I’ll have you know, popcorn is a warm, home-cooked meal.<\/p>\n
But when I come in from work like this, and I can’t think what to eat at all, I ask myself, “What would Oprah do?”<\/p>\n
After she hired a chef, a nutritionist, and a personal trainer, she probably wouldn’t do much of anything, to tell the truth, and those are some people I am missing in my life. Just one personal assistant to follow me around all day would do wonders. The position is open. It pays nothing but my heartfelt regard. Feel free to apply in the comment section here.<\/p>\n
Short of taking on some minions, asap, I’m thinking it looks like a night of warming up something from my refrigerator that’s been there long enough I’ve forgotten what it is.<\/p>\n
