Our Daily Challenge &#8212; Stone.<\/p>\n<p>I thought the ODC word today was &#8220;rock.&#8221;  I said as I was leaving work today that I was going to stop at the Southern Miss campus and walk around with my camera and hope that I found a rock to photograph.  My friend said, &#8220;Why don&#8217;t you just take a picture of The Rock?&#8221;  Since I haven&#8217;t been to an actual game at my alma mater since I played in the marching band there in the mid-80s, it took me a minute to catch on.  Oh, yeah.  The Rock.  That&#8217;s the name of our football stadium.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not exactly a stone, but it is a rock, and that will just have to count as my contribution today.  Now that I&#8217;ve seen how pretty it photographs, I&#8217;m even thinking of going to an event there.
