It&#8217;s more than<br \/>\nthe knowledge you&#8217;ve set the bowl out<br \/>\nfor comfort, not food. Pretty and at<br \/>\ncontrast with everything drab<br \/>\nin your day, a tangerine means<br \/>\nyou are not on your last grain of rice.<br \/>\nYou are not suffering even imaginary<br \/>\nscurvy in your emotional body<br \/>\nlost on a real sea.  Such a bitter thing,<br \/>\na tangerine.  Your dog could swallow<br \/>\nit whole if he would.
