Our Daily Challenge &#8212; Starts with E.<\/p>\n<p>My mother made eggs and toast like this sometimes when I was a child.  She cut the center out of the bread and pan-fried it with the egg dropped into the hole.  I haven&#8217;t had one of these in years, and I don&#8217;t think it is quite the same as my mother&#8217;s.  I&#8217;m pretty sure she wouldn&#8217;t have had to try as many times as I did to do one without breaking the yolk.  <\/p>\n<p>If I had enough eggs and enough time left, I&#8217;d keep trying until I got a better shot than this.  As it is&#8230;things to do, places to go.  <\/p>\n<p>And of course it has only just now hit me that I could have just taken a shot of a plastic Easter egg out in the yard&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>107 of 365.
